The Atlas Services Solar Energy system provides the installation, maintenance and repair of your solar hot water heater system.
The system includes the following: Complete Roof Kit: one ½ bronze tee, one ½ copper coolie hat w/stem, two copper roof flashings or pitch pans, three ½ copper 90’s, two one”copper caps, two 1.5” couplings, one ½ x ¼ female adaptor, one ½ copper tee, one ¼ air vent, one freeze valve, one ½ pressure relief valve, one 2oz. jar brown paint, one tube heat sink compound, one 10k sensor, one stainless steel sensor clamp, two gray wire nuts, one tube of permanent sealer. Complete Tank Kit: Pre-Soldered (hot to house) line extending to back of tank, two pieces of pre-soldered (cold to tank) line extending to the back of the tank which includes an isolation valve, one each pre-soldered solar supply and return line which includes color-coded isolation ball and drain valves and a motorized ball/check valve. A Taco pump (ac powered) with cord kit*see option*, one GL-30-LCO-X255 controller, two ceiling escutcheons, six eight inch insulation ties, four ¾ inch copper 90’s, two boiler drain valves (hot & cold), one 50’ roll sensor wire, one tube heat sink compound, one 10k sensor, two 3/8 romex connectors, four gray wire nuts and two yellow wire nuts, 18 inch of 18-2 wire. *Option is a Taco pump dc powered option with 10 watt PV module) $499.00 additional
Installation Includes: AE--40 Collector, mounts, 80 gallon tank with backup heating element, T&P valve, complete tank kit and roof kits (see itemization below), ten sticks of ½ x 6’ and one stick of ¾ x 6’ insulation, one 5/8”x50’ refrigeration coil(soft copper), one set of four each of 3/8” x 4” lag bolts. SS lock and flat washers per collector, and 6” x 7” aluminum/galvanized roof flashings (sheet only).
